Three ladies living separate lives. Lauren along with her daughter Mack live overseas in Great Britian with her husband Ed seems to be living the perfect life. As we read along we discover how the family dynamics was built, how they struggle to overcome their past and how they work through their issues to come together as a family. Three strong women who each have struggles to work through to have brighter, happier futures.

This book was very well written that kept me intrigued from the first word to the very end. I was very disappointed when the book ended as I wanted more just because I felt very invested in each of the characters.

I really enjoyed this book. It made me wish I had a sister to have shared my life with. I missed a lot being an only child.
I loved the characters and the beautiful story. This is a wonderful book for anyone who enjoys romance!
This story actually has many blended stories. The characters are all different in many ways and get the same in a lot of ways. Each has an inner strength and some insecurities. I liked the story lines and only wished for a more complete ending.
Lauren and Jenna two sisters who grew up with an outrageous father and reclusive mother,discover as adults that their family was not as appeared and come to understand and appreciate their mother and at the same time ,come to a better understanding of their own selves.
I am used to Sarah Morgan's romances and series books, and this book is a departure from that. Because of that I wasn't sure about it at first, but I quickly got caught up in the story. The characters are great, with real life situations, problems, and reactions. It's a story of the special bond of sisters, family relationships, overcoming loss, and second chances. I highly recommend it!
I loved this book! I normally read thrillers, but wanted to read something lighter. Thus fit the bill. It had a great storyline, wonderful characters who were well developed & genuinely likeable. I actually laughed & cried at parts. But overall it's a heartwarming book. I wouldn't have read it if I had known it was a Harlequin book because I'm not into romance novels. The book was very choppy and hard to get into for me. One of the most annoying aspects was the definitions of everyday words at the beginning of each chapter and scattered throughout the story. It's almost as if there was a word count requirement that the author tried to satisfy with a dictionary. Only after I forced myself to ignore the needless definitions that I was able to finish the book. Hopefully the author will go back to her traditional format in her future books.
What is a secret? Who can you tell and who can you not tell? Is it ok to keep a secret from your family? From your husband? From your kids? These are the questions that come to light throughout this novel by Sarah Morgan. These questions and secrets take hold and play a huge part in the lives of the three women in this book; Lauren, Jenna, and Nancy. I loved meeting these women and felt their characters were well developed. Shout out to Mack who steals a scene or two (or every scene she is in!).
